My love for Fire Emblem is strong enough that I’ll probably never quit FEH, but it’s definitely moved from one of my most hype games to being bottom barrel junk in my list of mobages. A while back, I said FEH would be my last mobage, but this was under the assumption that its quality would’ve stayed in the same place rather than taking MANY STEPS backwards as it has with the implementation of live PvP. Therefore, I ended up picking up an otome mobage in La Corda d’Oro Starlight Orchestra. So the list of gachas I’m playing in order of what I’ve been appreciating most recently:

-Tales of the Rays
-Pokemon Masters EX
-Tales of Asteria
-La Corda d’Oro Starlight Orchestra
-Fire Emblem Heroes

A few other mobages I don’t consider to be gacha (even though they definitely have gacha elements within), but they are definite mobages:
-Animal Crossing Pocket Camp
-Pokemon GO

Yeah, you’re reading that right, FEH’s at the bottom of my appreciation bucket for gachas right now. Love the community still, plenty of great homies there–at least on Discord. Can’t say much for the streamer scene though–I’ve stopped watching the ones I usually do because there’s literally nothing they can do to make me excited for FEH content these days. I do not fault the streamers on this, as the game has provided nothing, but at the same time, it just means I wasn’t into those streamers enough to stick around regardless of the state of the game.

So yeah… Management for the game has been pretty trash lately. Did they lose multiple intern-kuns? Their Twitter hasn’t been updated in ages, they keep making system mistakes (forgetting to add PoL quests, incorrect weapon descriptions/implementations, literally unplayable event like GC, other bugs), and the meta has been really ugly for the past year after they released Save units. It’s like they ultimately regret making Save skills, but can’t think of a way to do better without pissing off everyone. Too late lol.

This recent version update finally gave my husbando Shigure a refine, yet it’s so trash that I can’t bring myself to get it. There is literally no motivation for me to do so. The same goes with all the other refines. Mikoto’s the only one that carries any meaning with the Canto Control, but it’s so easy to read that they’ll implement something like this on an upcoming Mythic or such. And since AA is the only mode where I can really use these units in the first place, which has been degraded to only once every other week… WHERE IS THE MOTIVATION TO DO ANYTHING IN THE GAME ANYMORE, IS.

Lately all I invest in the game are big fat cheater units like Duo Chrom for Arena scoring and comfy times, and Save balls for AR comfy times. Upcoming Easter banner is easy skip because it’s Green Duo unit no. toomany.
